I have a call into LLMD. I am going off of Amox./Flagyl and onto a new combo of drugs. Once I stop, how long do I need to wait (if at all) before I start the next combo?
I don't want them to interact all together but they never mentioned at the office waiting a certain amount of time.

I just stop the old drugs and start the new the very next day one at a time at about three day intervals.

Lily, I've discussed tackling babesia with Dr. C's nurses, too, since I've had a setback these last two weeks. I'm thinking about trying the biaxin/plaquenil combo. I've already started the plaquenil to my regimen last week. They said to stop the doxy, but I just got worse and kept it in.
Have you every tried zith? I can't even tolerate 1/4 tablet. I hope biaxin, in the same family, is better.
Good luck to you.
