Is there somewhere you can donate your body to after dying for research specific to verctor borne illnesses????

I have thought about this several times, although my kids dont feel real good about it. It just seems like it might be a good thing for the future.

I had thought the same thing. Keep forgetting to ask my LLMD who should get it, who'll actually do it properly for the info.

Thanks for the reminder.

Well, I hope it is many decades before we all get there. [Smile]

When the Columbia Lyme Center opened, Brian Fallon said that they would be collecting brains for research. [Roll Eyes]

That should be interesting [Eek!]

In really really bad times, I've told my husband before to just dump my body off at my LLMD's house

I kind of have a sick sense of humor, though

In my state they wouldn't know what to do with a lyme/TBI patient alive or dead. I appreciate the thoughts of those who, even at the end of this journey, want to help others better understand this so that a cure might someday be found.

It's not morbid-it's realistic and practical.

We can continue the good fight even in death if we donate out bodies-or minimally request an autopsy.
