I started taking mino a few days ago. Yesterday I felt really bad. Just like I had the flu, but worse...
Anyway, today was one of the scariest days for me.
We were at a restaurant eating lunch and I started feeling a burning sensation through out my whole body. I got the chills. I felt like I was going to lose consciousness. It was soooo scary.
Does that sound like a herx?
I have also been having a lot of neurogical symptoms... dizziness, lightheaded, and worst of all my balance is gone. I've been finding it really hard to walk.
If this is a herx, is it best to take a break from the mino for maybe a day or two?
I usually push through herxes, but have never experienced anything like this.
Thanks!

Bumping you up for some help.
I took mino for about 2 days. I didn't get dizzy I had true vertigo.
I was having to crawl on the floor (bumping into things) to take care of my children.
I don't ever want to feel like that again.
Maybe call your LLMD and see what they say.
Hugs,

Lauren, I've had that happen too.
I get a burning/hot flash wave through me and then I feel like I'm going to lose consciousness. I also get nauseated, etc. It is VERY scary. I have it some, but I've noticed the most times I've had that particular feeling, I've been on my period as well and lyme flares during that time.
I believe it's a herx/flare.
