I have SSID with Medicare and State Medicaid (Masshealth), as I'm in Massachusetts.
Does Medicare still cover Igenex testing? If so are their limitations on what tests can be run? Any help would be appreciated.
Also, I'm trying to understand which tests I should get. I'm going through Fry Labs to get the basic smear, but I'd also like to get checked out thoroughly with Igenex without killing my bank account.

they have always covered all my testing. to be sure why don't you call them? i'm sure there's a phone number on their website.

Hey,
I just had testing done in April and they paid for it. I emailed them and they replied the same day. I wanted the email proof just incase medicare balked at paying etc.
I would either call them or email them.

CALL THEM vs. emailing them! when i got involved with them 4 years ago; they informed me they DELETE ALL EMAILS AS "SPAM" ... don't read them at all.
so since they have an TOLL FREE NO. ... CALL THEM!~

Yes, you need to copy your medicare card front and back and include it when the blood is drawn. I'd staple it to the lab slip.

Which tests can I run for a broad view? I've been ill for 21 years, diagnosed with Lyme but no co-infections. I haven't had any positive tests, but I suspect Lyme, possible Bartonella.

not sure about which tests. . .
you might need to have a doctor who is a Medicare provider ORDER the tests, sign with his/her medicare number in order for medicare to cover the tests. To be certain, talk to the billing people at the lab.
