I feel mine. It's in the left upper arm, goes up in my arm, across my entire chest and down near my heart on my right and I can feel it, inside.
It's creeping me out and making it hard to move, especially to bend over. My throat/neck also feels it.
Ugggg. I hope this goes away. I'm counting the days till I can get this foreign thing out. And I'm close to deciding that this ain't worth it. I hope I start to feel improvement soon. So far, major herx, yuckiness, gross out and fear.

Hi catskill,
No, I never felt my PICC line inside. Not at all. What does your LLMD say? What do the nurses say?

Is it painful? I could feel my first picc line - just the way you described - and it hurt, too. My veins were spasming (is that a word, hopefully you know what I mean).
My LLMD pulled it, and the second time they put one in I had a patient advocate who helped me insist that it be placed by a radiologist (not a tech).
Don't know if that's what made the difference, but that second line was a totally different experience - couldn't feel it at all.
Call your doc or your nurse...

I know it can be pretty creepy having that inside you............
the only time I felt mine was when my meds were really cold... and the sight where it entered my arm....was a bit icky...didn't hurt but knew it was there...
How long have you had it in?? Maybe you're just thinking about it too much....?? does it hurt....or just creepy??
I absolutly hated mine..... and I will spare you how long I had it in.... but well worth it in the end....
hope it starts to feel better....or actually ...that you DON"T FEEL IT mtree

My Picc line made me feel like there was something constantly stuck in my throat. It was a very odd feeling. But I will tell you, I have (as I discovered because of the picc line) a very unusual anatomy. My picc line went into my left arm and then straight down into the left side of my chest. Turns out I have a left sided superior vena cava. Don't know it that is why I "felt it" in my throat or not.
