Has anyone found anything effective in removing the bartonella papules?
I am considering trying to freeze dry them off, but not sure if it will work. It has worked in the past with skin tags though.
Any successes out there?
Muchas muchas,
Alison

Okay, so I chickened out on doing the freezy stuff myself on them.
But, I did go to a dermatologist and had them sliced off.
Of course, the dermatologist thought they were warts, but didn't examine them closely enough. Had he done so, he would have seen that they really didn't look like warts. I figured he could call them whatever he wanted .. just get them the heck offa me!
They're still healing but I'll keep everyone posted. Fingers crossed they stay gone!
btw here is a pic of one of the papules:

I have those too and so does my friend who also has Lyme disease.
Are you sure they are bart or could they possibly be babs? I never did see Schaller's book of bart pics.

I'm pretty sure they're Bart after looking at some of Schaller's pictures. These can be found also in back issues of Public Health Alert as well.
Does Babs also cause things like this? I do also have Babs based on symptoms though seronegative.

I suddenly got a bunch of those on my legs....Doc thinks they are BART related also.
I had one cut off my wrist several years ago....same exact thing.

I broke out in several recently when I had to temporarily give my body a break from antibiotics. However, mine have diminished by putting Neosporin antibiotic ointment on them. Did you try that with any of yours?
I'm sure mine are Bart, too - my Bart is worse than my Lyme, by far.
