Confusing---------- And I have not got the babesia book. So my doc put me on clindamycin + mepron. Can I be sure this is OK? It will not get the bugs resistant to mepron? Or is it necessary to be on zithromax with mepron?

i have taken this combo for five months and it seemed to have killed the babesia. I had very big herx's at first but began to feel much better.

Why not just use Malarone as you do not need any macrolide with that

If you are taking Mepron it must be taken with a Macrolide - Ketek/Zith or Biaxin
