my cd57 is 48 - not good

my dd (17) has a high c-reactive protein, cardiac indiciative of high inflammation - my understanding is carditis

her fry lab shows BLO

we are both igenex + for lyme

and

she is dx bipolar, ocd etc and on psych meds

the dr who was tx us has decided that due to her psych meds and condition he is not comfortable tx her and she needs to be monitored more than he can

great

there is no one around us to do that

so he wont treat her

he suggested she needs to be in Kansas City at the clinic

i am a single mom with 2 kids and the only income producer - how the $@#% am i suppose to go there for 3-4 months with her for tx?????

so what do we do now???

OMG CJ!

Just want to offer you some support. Are there any benefactors for Lyme? Stymie Lymie was trying to set something up.

Maybe you could call the Clinic and see if they might have any suggestions? I was just looking at their Homepage and they do address Psych issues as well.

Just some thoughts,
Feelfit

What about Dr. J in SC? He seems to take complicated cases.

I can't believe it! Sounds harsh. [Frown]

Hey CJ,

I'm so sorry to hear about your predicament.

Just a suggestion: I don't know how open you are to alternative treatments, but have you tried rifing for your daughter?

I ask because I had many mental symptoms as a result of my lyme - abx helped, but didn't completely make it go away.

I purchased a rife machine and it has WIPED OUT these issues - it's been truly miraculous.

These machines are the real deal and they're excellent at getting into the brain to kill infection.

They're relatively inexpensive. Maybe something you can try at least until you can come up with something else?

My heart goes out to you and your daughter. Keep us posted.

Lauren

Sorry,CJ, I know how hard this is.

Who prescribes her psych meds? Does she see a psychiatrist? My daughter's psychiatrist has been our best ally in all of this.

I don't know what meds your daughter is on, but some of the ones my daughter was on actually caused some of her problems.

The psychiatrist has watched over her meds and taken her off of several things and that has helped alot. He is on the fence about lyme, but has been a great encouragement no matter what we decided.

My daughter just finished a homeopathic remedy that Bejoy recommended for bart. It was from Deseret Biologicals and I have been very impressed with its performance.

She has had social anxiety and has avoided doing anything that might be overly crowded. That is much improved. Her OCD has improved also.

We may do another round, but she made the biggest stride forward with this remedy. We did have a doctor order it for us and it was $50.

It was easy to take and the herxes didn't seem as harsh as with some other treatments. She is also doing Bicillin injecions, but it was easy to tell when the homeopathic was causing the herx.

I don't understand homeopathic medicine, but it worked for my daughter.

Also, I encourage you if you have a psychiatrist, see if he will treat your daughter for lyme, etc. If he isn't supportive, change that doctor too.

Sometimes changing doctors--even if you don't want to--works out to be a blessing.

My Dan Tracy model cost me $440. He builds them at cost for Lyme patients. I love it.

PM me for more info.
