Thanks, I need that. I've been using it on & off for many years. I'd like to try it in combination with fiber rich foods instead of the other binders.
It says 4 caps, up to 4 times a day.
Is it really true it doesn't absorb nutrients? Kind of hard to believe...

It is amazing. Thanks to your post I ordered it.It saved me from a severe HERX that I went through last week.
I feel better.Still using it.But my body needs less today!
I had to use CMS and A/C at the same time to overcome MY BIG HERX!

Thank you for reposting this very valuable info. I think it has helped many and will continue to do so.
I shared it with a Canadian lymie who was having a horrible herx and the activated charcoal helped her.

It is hard to believe it doesn't absorb nutrients, but one of the links (at the bottom of that post) says "studies show no proof of it absorbing nutrients".
Maybe because A/C itself is aDsorbent not an aBsorbent. Adsorbent's - our bodies don't absorb like it absorbs our abx or vitamins. Instead, in simple terms adsorbents act like a sponge attracting stuff to it, but our bodies don't absorb a/c - that is why it is so great. It just goes through us like a cleaning sponge attracting "garbage".
Make sure to read some or all of the links.
I use it now as needed...if I feel like I am herxing or just nauseated and cruddy feeling, one or two makes me feel better.
Make sure to read all the info check out the links. Make sure to take 2 hours before and/or after any medications.
I use Natures Way brand, they have a really good price at Vitacost, always make sure it reads ACTIVATED charcoal...there is another charcoal.

Thanks again... I took 4 (2 times today) & I'm feeling alot better. I don't think I was taking enough. I was only taking 2 caps, once a day.
It's a good idea to add the extra fiber, too. Just to make sure everything aDsorbed gets removed.
That is really interesting - I never realized that about aDsorb & aBsorb.
This info has been a life saver to me. I've been having intestinal pain for 2 week & I'm really tired of it. I think it's from toxins.

When my stomach is really bad, I don't think 4 would do a thing. I take around 6 or 7 (but that's just me and I'm not a doctor) and it is amazing how quickly it will help.
A guy in my karate class couldn't get over a stomach virus last year that lingered for weeks and weeks. I told him about activated charcoal. About a week later he said it was amazing stuff and cleared out his stomach problems.

I take 4 once a day, it helps a great deal I also take 2 apple pectin (now foods) twice a day. Also chlorella in the morning. Lots of greens in my diet. Sometimes it still doesn't seem enough.

Yes it is true.Well pending on the herx( I use BIOTENSOR) and I took the night that I was very sick 9 pills.
My daughter said that if I was afraid than I should not take all that.BUT I keep testing and it used to come up on 3 diferent test only 9 capsules.
So I took them and the sleppt all night long. The following day I needed 2 CMS and than later my body wanted just 3 capsules.
YES you can take higher dosages pending on the load of toxins.Take all your vitamins or medication 4 hrs apart ...
