so I just got back from my llmd and are kinda confused lol she really didnt answer my questions well as for my igenx results it says positive bands 23-25 ++ 31 ind 39ind 41 +++ 66+ that is the igm my igg was negative is that common for one to be postive and one negative on the igg bands 41 + 58 + she started me on doxycycline 50 x a day for 7 then up 100 mg then in 2 weeks i add ritampin 300 mg 2x a day [ 28. lol i forgot to put my questions can someone explain my results other than they are positive and why would my igm be positive and not the igg -------------------- Christina

do you mean "minocycline" and not doxy, at 50 mg ?

Yes, that's a very low dose for doxy! It's not uncommon for IgM to be positive in Lyme patients when IgG is negative. I don't know that I've heard of an explanation, only that it's common. If either is positive, you have Lyme if you have symptoms. -------------------- sixgoofykids.blogspot.com
