so I just got back from my llmd and are kinda confused lol she really didnt answer my questions well

as for my igenx results it says positive
bands
23-25 ++
31 ind
39ind
41 +++
66+
that is the igm

my igg was negative is that common for one to be postive and one negative on the igg
bands
41 +
58 +

she started me on doxycycline 50 x a day for 7 then up 100 mg

then in 2 weeks i add ritampin 300 mg 2x a day

lol i forgot to put my questions can someone explain my results other than they are positive and why would my igm be positive and not the igg

do you mean "minocycline" and not doxy, at 50 mg ?

Yes, that's a very low dose for doxy!

It's not uncommon for IgM to be positive in Lyme patients when IgG is negative. I don't know that I've heard of an explanation, only that it's common.

If either is positive, you have Lyme if you have symptoms.

no it was doxy she said she was starting me off on a pediatric dose cause i might have a bad herx???
