I went to get a massage and the therapist pointed

out how I have a lot of "full" lymph nodes. I

assume it's cellular debris from the anitbiotics

killing off the spirochetes and possibly some

neurotoxins. She pressed them and stroked them

they hurt like crazy.

I need to detox!

Tell me what products/methods/ treatments you

guys are doing to rid the body of all this dead

junk and how it is supposed to work and how

successful it has been for you.

TYIA! [hi]

I would highly recommend seeing someone who is trained in lymphatic drainage. Not all massage therapists are. Seek someone trained in the Upledger method.

Lymp drainage is very gentle, not a lot of pressing etc. A good therapist can teach you breathing exercises that keep the lower lymph draining and some gentle techniques for the upper.

I had to look for awhile as many people I spoke with said they didn't have enough training to do lymph drainage so please be sure you are seeing someone who is qualified.

Lemon and water. A good binder for toxins - chlorella, activated charcoal or the like. Epson salt baths.

Hope that helps.

I am taking benonite (sp?) charcoal...sometimes.

I worry it wil bind to my meds or to food. It's

hard to know about timing and when to take what.

Thanks for the info on lymph drainage. I'll look

into it.

If you can find someone in your area that uses this machine - it worked great for me.

http://www.arcturusstar.com/Lymphstar.php

As I know it there are only about 200 people in the US that are trained to do this - probably more by now.

Dr. Cowden recommeded this in the article that Scott did in PH a few months back.

Cholestyramine (questran or welchol)

activated charcoal

lots of water

lots of sweating

I also hear that nanotek chitosan is useful

It's my opinion that anything gentler than those won't get rid of the bad stuff fast enough to do much good.

Rebounding with a small trampoline is supposed to be helpful for lymphatic drainage & you can do it yourself, at home.

Real lymphatic drainage massage is great but it tends to be expensive. You have to find a well trained massage therapist to do it properly.

Here the lymph massage sessions range from $12-25 per session, depending on the business.

Here a few more ideas:

http://www.webstoresamerica.com/product.asp?product=AB-07 This is wonderful especially for people who are not able to hold on to a trampoline or similar equipment. A Chi machine. You can use it for years and years. And if you get to that point - grandchildren love it!

And the most important are the binding agents: cooked potatoes with the peel, pectin - lots of it, anything with lots of fiber, chlorella best quality, Biologo-detox (only available in Europe - contains most necessary detox agents) beta sitosterol, zeolite powder and zeolite again, lots of strawberries,
-- if you don't to a lot of these, neurotoxins including heavy metals released in die-off are reabsorbed and redistributed into the system. Most herxheimers = moving toxins, are just that - circulating neurotoxins of every kind. You feel better if they have left the body or better temporarily if they have resettled in another body compartment, but they are still creating problems within. Not a good solution.

If toxins do not leave, nutrient absorption is not working either. Roads are clogged and misery seems to continue.

Put natural salt (himalajan) into your drinking water - barely to taste for good mineral base.
Detoxing is not possible without this.

Take care.

My LLMD recommended dry skin brushing to stimulate cyrculation, infrared saunas and coffe enemas if you are strong enough, execise, everything that can increase glutathione like NAC and some vegetables like coliflower and broccoli, ozone therapy but I know it's not very popular in the States, you can do binders like cholestepure if you're not on abx.

I am NOT a doctor but I detoxed after trying so many worthless herbs, pills, etc. I had so many requests for how I detoxed that I wrote it up www.yantis.us/detox.htm I have had a hundred plus people tell me it worked for them as it worked for me. Virtually all meds work so much better if your metabolism is working correctly and your body is not full of toxins. Good luck!

Thank you Gigi! You just saved me over a hundred dollars because I was going to buy another brand for $224.

I just used your link and ordered a chi machine over the phone. I am looking forward to its arrival.

The man told me if anyone wants a discount they can use my order number for a percentage off. If anyone wants my order number send me a PM.

hshbmom- wow.... They charge about $90 an hour for real lymph drainage massage in NYC.

I would get so stressed out going in & leaving NYC that it became not worth it. Between traffic & parking... I'd lose the effects of the massage.

The lady I saw was very good & she really knew her stuff. It was almost like floating unconscious for an hour... It really was a great experience but I realized it wasn't going to cure what I thought was fibromyalgia at the time...

Another poster pointed out to me that Amazon has a chi machine that looks like the one I ordered for even less money.

Mine did come with no tax or shipping but this one might be less even with shipping.

Both of my doctors have zeroed in on detox as my main problem and detoxing "UNDER THEIR CARE" has given me back my health.

In addition to detoxing, we have built up my body and immune system with food and supplements and we have tackled many bacteria I test positive for with prescription medications.

However, I was extremely toxic and detox has had to go extremely slow. Any fast attempts to detox put me flat in the bed. And that includes Epsom Salt baths, zeolite, benonite clay, too much NAC.

#1 detox agent was and is glutathione. IV pushes did wonders for me and now, my first month experience with glutathione suppositories seem to work very well. If I feel the least bit toxic, I use a suppository. I keep it in at least 30 mins so good absorbsion.

#2 eat lots more green and cruciferous vegetables. These help the body produce glutathione on their own.

#3 NAC (600mg for me)
Pectasol Chelation
Numerous herbal detox combinations prescribed
by my doctor.

#4 Garlic and sulfur containing foods like
onions, eggs.

#5 Rebounder. At first I could only sit on it
and bounce, but as I detoxed, I became able to
stand and bounce. Today, I can use it
vigorously. It is one of my favorite and fun
things I do for my health.

I did lymphatic drainage early on with no results. That could be because I was just so toxic. At that point, I was barely able to walk. It was done by a specialist in our local hospital and was very expensive and not covered by insurance. I personally would not do it again.

Any movement stimulates the lymphatic system and is one of the reasons exercise is so good for you. It is also why we get squirmy and bloated after sitting too long. Our body is telling us we are getting to toxic and we need to move.

I have not done a coffee enema but have read they can produce 700% more glutathione. More glutathione is a really, really good thing.

I do coffee enemas, they are great, you should try them luvs2ride! My husband and daughter even do them when they're sick because they see so much of a difference in me when I do them vs. when I don't.

What do you ride luvs? It seems my FIL's Harley has an even stronger effect than my rebounder! Seriously. He took me for a short ride and my lymph nodes were a little sore afterward. He's taken me on several since then and I do think it helps.

If you ride horses, I would think that would have the same effect. [Big Grin]
