My brother-in-law has been having ever-increasing brain fog issues for the last year. He called me the other night to talk about Lyme, but I couldn't really tell him definitively if I thought he might have it or not.

He says he ONLY has brain fog issues. No aches, pains, tingling, numbness or any of the other hallmarks of Lyme. However, when I explained how I experience brain fog he was like, "Yes! That's it exactly!"

He's had endless tests that all come back normal and he said in a follow-up voicemail that he had been recently tested for Lyme. The test was negative, but I don't know if it was a WB or not.

What do you all think? It seems unlikely to me that he has it since brain fog is his only symptom. However, we both spend a lot of time up in Cape Cod which is where I'm pretty sure I was bitten.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Hi,

That was my first symptom and I still have it 15 years later. Then came the ringing in my ears, stiff neck, fatigue, etc. I was tested three times and all came back neg. I just got a pos through MDLabs. They take insurance if he wants to that route first. Igenex is the best but they don't accept insurance. Only Medicare I believe but I could be wrong.

Hope he finds some answers soon.

That's my only symptom most of the time.
