She has been on orals for 3 years and now bicilan for appx 6 months. Major symptoms include extreme fatigue, sleep problems, pain in wrists, hands, knees.

Has a positive CDC lyme test and possible bart and babesia.

Any feedback and ideas would be appreciated.

I am on IV Rocephin, the key points are to ensure she takes Destolit 300-600 3 x Day due to the pottential gallbladder issues as it often causes Bilary sludging.

If she is infusing herself via a PICC be educated about sterile Techniques and PICC

So, has she gotten any treatment for babs or bart?

Most lyme docs think that a cyst buster needs to be added to rocephin, like flagyl or tinidazole.

Some people think that low dose naltrexone helps with the fatigue.

How is her thyroid?

I have a low functioning gall bladder and my doc put me on IV Rocephin anyway. I lasted a week. Now I need to have the gallbladder out and there goes my week of treatment down the drain. Be careful.
