My doctor wants me to start Iv Merrem which is supposedly a brand new antibiotic. I was taking doxy but its on national backorder and they can only get limited doses.

Have any of you heard of this antibiotic before? Has anybody tried it?

I read a few things and its seems pretty damn strong.

Thanks for any info.

Joe

I guess no one has. I know it's in the same class as impenimum or however that one is spelled. Dr. B mentions that impenimum can be used for lyme and it usually works well.
