Good question. I went five years undiagnosed. I was on orals for 21 months and in that time, I really did see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Then out of no where while still on treatment, I took a tumble and it went back to neuro.
I'm just coming up to 6 months of treatment. There are some things that are better (cognitive) but some that are worse (pain and neuro).
I'm being treated for babesiosis right now with the IV zith. I had done 7 months of zith mepron and art with orals but now doing the same with the only change being the IV.
Hopefully Rianna is right with 7 months since that means I'm almost there. :-)
It will be intersting to hear what others say.

Three weeks IV and nothing (although not expected to be honest). Maybe some minor herxing or maybe minor progression - never can etll. Its a marathon - not a sprint unfortunately. Hang in there.
