I quit my job in San Francisco to go on disability and 3 weeks after I quit my NY corporate office laid off everyone in the company.
If the company decides to drop the Aetna policy they had since they let everyone go, will I lose my Cobra Aenta benefits?
If you're cobra is through your company and your company no longer has the policy, do you by default lose it too?
If I will lose it, will I have any option to choose any benefits?
I would not qualify for benefits on my own, so what options would I have?
Thanks, Lindsay

These are good questions. I think you need to call COBRA to find out.

I agree with CD57, you need to contact COBRA.
If, gods forbid, you lose your insurance and can't get benefits on your own, there are several websites that can give you free or low cost meds.
If you need Mepron, go to bridges to access.
the Partnership for Prescription Assistance offers a single point of access to more than 475 public and private patient assistance programs, including more than 180 programs offered by pharmaceutical companies
