To be honest, I haven't monitored my BP too much since being on Rocephin. I will say, however, that last week I had my port installed and they administered 1G of Rocephin immediately after installation to make sure everything was working. My BP was very low after the surgery and we were wondering why. I felt fine and I haven't checked it since...maybe it was the med.

I hope you find out the source of your issue.

Low blood pressure and Lyme are not uncommon. If your doc thinks this is due to dehydration, why doesn't he have you slowly infuse some IV fluids of normal saline? I used to do that when I was on IVs and not feeling great. It always made me feel better.

Just a thought...

Best,
Karen
