Well, after a 2 year hiatus thinking that I was somehow 'cured' of these dreadful beasts, I'm back on treatment again and am going through herx ____!
Man, forgot how bad it can feel...In my first week of Mino and Cats-Claw and soon to be adding Zith (can't wait to see what that does) and I'm already at my herx limit. Could only get to 3 drops of Cats-Claw (twice a day)with the Mino.
Not sure what's promoting the herx more, the CC or the Mino but, whatever it is, it's pure torture. I know, I know, it's a good thing, but I have a call in to my LLMD to see if I can back off a bit to clear some of the toxins.
Any updated advise from you veteran (or rookie) fellow Lymies?
Can use all the support and help I can get.
Best, Dave

Wow, just got off the phone with the Drs. office and they want me to stop for a few days and clear out my system and then start again Sunday.
That's a switch from my last LLMD who told me to just persevere!
Anyway, thanks as always for letting me vent. What a frustrating, nasty, disease!

So sorry and at least you now can now recognize when it is back and what you have. Good luck to you and hope you see some amazing improvements soon.

Sorry you're back in the game.
I was just diagnosed last month (after suffering with "anxiety and depression" for 9 months) and am on Doxy right now.
I just got over a nasty herx that I swear felt worse than what I'm being treated for.
Now since last night I've had such horrible nausea--BUT I also feel hungry. Just that looking at food makes me want to barf.
Almost like being pregnant again--and no, I KNOW for sure that's not the issue.
Yes, this is a frustrating, nasty disease.
