Hi Everyone,

I am in Aussie and struggling a little with where to go now with treatment. I don't have a LLMD.

My symptoms started Jan 2008, treatment started May 2008. I have taken doxy, amoxil and am currently on tinidazole, biaxin and rifampicin.

I have made 85% progress I'd say and have been stuck here for 3 or so months. I know this is excellent, but I wish to continue improving.

I started bactrim (got rid of rifampicin) 2 weeks ago and had an allergic reaction after 2 days so had to stop. However, after that 2 days

I noticed a herx, similar to the one I had on rifampicin, so maybe bart is still an issue. I've also had a peak in anxiety again after having this improve on tini.

I don't know where to go with my treatment from here. I feel babs may be something I'm dealing with, but haven't really been able to address this. The bactrim was really for this as I haven't been able to get Mepron here due to our health system.

I also worry about bart.

I've been considering salt/c. I know there are people on both sides of the fence here, but I plan to start very slowly if I go down this road.

I think if I was somewhere Lyme was recognised, I'd probably be put on IV for a while, but I am not likely to get that here.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

Kelly

Hi Kelly,

I have had great success with salt/c (sea salt). If you need any help with it, let me know.

I started on a very low dose 1/4 tsp each sea salt and 1/4tsp vit C a day. The idea is to ramp up slowly,

Gael

How about using a Rife machine? They are available over there.
