I just received cryptolepsis for treatment of my son's (10) mystery bug. I bought it from Bear Creek Herbs.
My son has been doing the Z herb protocol for about 2 months. The only change I have seen is that he seems to have a slight increase in energy. No negatives.
Any one see positives by using this herb for the mystery bug?

At high doses it stopped hubby's mild night sweats. His headaches were better and he had more energy. Sleep was better also. Also eye pain improved. His red blood count gradually improved to normal over about a month. Seizure-like episodes decreased in frequency to once every couple of weeks instead of once every day or two.
Due to the shortage of this herb hubby had to cut his dose from 1 1/2 ounces per day (1 tablespoon or 15 droppers 3 times per day) to 1/2 ounce per day or only 5 droppers 3 times per day. All his symptoms have been coming back including the decrease in red blood cell counts.
Unfortunately he was only at the highest dose for about a week -- I gradually increased his dose over 4 or 5 weeks until he got to the higher dose. He didn't really have any side effects until he got to the highest dose. Said he could feel it working in his brain.
In my opinion this herb can help significantly with the mystery protozoa -- just not sure it can actually kill it.
Hubby also takes lactoferrin to help starve the pathogen of iron and lysine -- both seem to be helpful.
Still trying to get his doc to prescribe pyrimethamine -- a toxoplasmosis drug -- as hubby is allergic to mepron so he can't take the malarone.
This is not medical advice. Just my opinion based on hubby's experience.
Talked to Woodland Essence today -- their shipment has left Africa and should be available in the U.S. after May 20.

Hi Hoot. I used Cryptolepsis for Babesiosis, but I did not notice any improvement from it.
I hope it helps your son.

Bea...wow! Large dose. Have you tried the Bear Creek herb while waiting for the other one to make its way to our side of the ocean?
Did he only have a positive smear for the mystery bug or does he have other co-infections as well.
I am hoping this herb works in my son's brain. My son's biggest (only?) symptom may be "autism". We have tried many treatments to help him. Now that we found the mystery bug I guess I need to address it. He has only responded to a few treatments on the biomedical front (EDTA, MB12, natural chelators, and I think the artemisia from Z is giving more energy).
Sammi...Thanks!
