Anyone get joint pain when using Bactrim? It seems to migrate around for me. My shoulders might hurt for awhile and then they stop. Or my ankles will hurt for awhile.

Is this a white blood cell effect from Bactrim?

How about bruising? I have a small one on the heel of my left palm and maybe another one on my hip.

No rashes to report other than my normal skin sensitivity that has been with me since picking this junk up.

The Bactrim is for Bart per my LLMD.

Hmmmm. I took bactrim with mepron and malarone (different times)

For babesia. Bruising sounds like babesia.

Hugs,

My drug book lists arthralgia (joint pain) as a side effect of Bactrim.

I took Bactrim DS for nearly 11 months without any side effects that I can recall. I got rid of babesiosis with the Bactrim. My doc said it treats bart also.

Which strain of babs did you eliminate with bactrim? Microti or duncani?
