I have BC?BS and it is a known fact they will only pay for 28 days of IV ceftiaxone.
Have been in contact with Infuserve, and they seem to think after the 28 days, they will fill scripts for the ceftriaxone powder, then I would send it to them and they would mix it and send all supplies needed for $400 a mo.
I really don't think BC/BS will do this, just wondering if anyone has had experience with IV and BC/BS.
I have priced the powder and it comes close to $2000 a month everywhere I have checked!
Thanks to anyone who could respond !!!

I have BC/BS and have been on IV 2 times. First time for 3 months. Last time for 6 weeks.
I never had questions or any problems. First time was MI BC/BS. Second time Florida BC/BS. I am in the Federal Employee Program though, maybe their criteria is different?

Someone reminded me BC/BS differs from state to state, and NY is the worst. I know someone in Michigan who gets far more paid for than I do with alot less hassle.
guess so far, the cheapest I'll pay is about $845 a month.
