I had my wisdom teeth out on Tuesday and was completely knocked out for the procedure. I was given perocet for the pain and on Friday I started Riphamin and Allenia as part of my lyme and bart treatment. Sunday morning I woke up with a horrible sore throat, which turned into a deep chest cough, runny nose, ear ache, and now Wednesday I am feeling like death.

My nose is stuffed and running, my ears are throbbing, when I cough it's so sharp and deep that I can't breath and then i choke on the flem and keep going until I am gasping for air.

My question is do I just have a terrible horrible cold or is the a herx from the riphamin and allenia? This is my first time on both of them and I see the LLMD today but I am dying and any help would be great!

My gut reaction was that you are dealing with a horrible cold...unrelated to lyme, treatment, etc. Glad you are seeing the doc today though. Let us know what he/she thinks.

Hope you feel better soon....

I am having a chest x-ray tomorrow. LLMD thinks definately a viral infection possibly phenomia. Hopefully it's just a really horrible terrible cold.
