Here are some great pdf resources detailing characteristics of many antibiotics, and their typical application in Tick-borne bacterial infections.
They cover basic aspects of each antibiotic, such as half-life (helps determine length of time drug remains active in your body), class, whether bacteriostatic or bacteriocidal, whether they have intracellular penetration, CNS penetration, and possible tick-borne disease applications, among other factors.
