This spring I had a detoxgenomic profile done by Genova Labs that indicated drugs which would be difficult for me to detoxify.
These are a few listed: Sulfa drugs, Cipro, erythromycin, Flagyl,and rifampin.
Unfortunately, these are most of the lyme treatment drugs.
Therefore, it is no surprise that doxycycline and ceftin have been the easiest drugs for me so far. Amoxicillin and Augmentin were not on the list although these seem particularly difficult for me.
My LLMD haven't discussed the results yet. I don't see him for a couple of months.
Does anyone know if I would be able to take the "difficult drugs" in small doses and still make a good attack on Lyme?
