When I look at anything light coloured like my computor screen, walls with pale coloured paint, the sky etc I am aware of what I can only describe as black clouds that move aroudn with the floaters. Does anyone else get this? Its getting harder and harder to see on the computor which is my job. Am being treated for lyme, bart and babs. Anyone?

Yes I have it. They look like black clouds that just float along there own course. But what I found out in my exp is that they are many grouped circles. Its hard to explain. What I can tell you is if you lie on your back underneath a lamp, I have floor lamps, and if you just move your eyes or the eye infected back and forth untill you see the floaters. Then stop the eye movement and the grouped circles will slowly float around. They are actually grey when looking underneath a light source.

be extra careful as lose of vision in the middle where lines are CROOKED, etc. could mean MACULAR DEGENERATION .... the permanent loss of vision.

Go to the ER if this came on suddenly, if it's been awhile schedule an appt. with an eye doc asap. A friend of mine had that and it was very serious, the retina was detaching in both eyes. It may not be that but you need to find out what is going on. Black spots in your field of vision is not normal.

Yes, I've had that too, along with the flashing lights.

Saw the eye doctor (actually, several of them), who of course couldn't find anything.

Always a good idea to get things checked out by an eye doctor.

thanks everyone. I have a tendancy to blame everything on lyme so was interested to see if others have this. they are black 'clouds' rather than dots, move around with the floaters and have been coming on in the last 2 -3 months. Am seeing my llmd in a week and eye doc in 2 weeks.
