For those of you who don't know: some bad news.

Dr. L's office is calling people about this, evidently.

She is taking "family leave" through the end of the year. [Frown]

Coltman mentioned it earlier:

To give you a jump on finding another primary care, I thought I'd inform you in a separate post.

If you have ideas on integrative, lyme-friendly, PCPs in the area, I encourage you to share. and please PM me! [Smile]

Many thanks. and good luck!

I was told "family leave" through the end of the year. Someone else got the details that it has to do with the health of a child.
Could be that combined w/the doctor's own health.

The suggested doctors names given to me by the office:

1) I found out from someone on MassLyme yahoo groups, the first md recommended (in same clinic) --terrible experience plus knows Zero about LD;

2) the 2nd one who practices nearby--
isn't taking new px.

Rock and a hard place.

If you find any integrative PCPs who take insurance, I would very much appreciate hearing about them.

Thanks.
