- Thanks for the You Tube link.
There are also many threads here discussing the Marshall Protocol - which to qualify one has to be high in Vitamin D (with particular testing done first).
For more detail on how that has gone for some here, a search can be done here, ask for it in the subject line of the medical forum:
There are also a few threads about the Road Back Foundation, too. That is similar but does not require cutting back on vitamin D (although the cutting back in the MP is for those who have high levels, not for patients with low or normal levels). And Benicar is not used in this protocol. Otherwise, there are some similarities regarding slow, low dose.
If one chooses RBF, the slower release pelleting version of minocycline (minocin) is better tolerated. Mino can be hard on the ears so liver support is good to remember as that can help protect the ears, too. Minocin would be easier on the ears, too, with the timed-release action.

I think his theory is correct regarding the cause of disease (intracellular bacteria disrupting immune system)
After much contemplation and research though I decided that his protocol though does not make sense and its effectiveness is due to multiple abx, not due to Vitamin D restriction. Benicar role is mostly antinflammatory(and other helpful effects in case of sarcoidosis)
If you serious about MP I recommend reading it several times and every link there referenced and decide for yourself. I think critique there is well founded and it was not adequately responded to by MP advocates
I also do recommend reading MP site , the marshal view subforum. Their presenation is interesting and give food for thought regarding the origin of chronic diseases

Above is your quote coltman and this presentation I put on the site is very interesting in that it may have or incite an indication on what these different pathogens do...at the end he does mention that this VDR antagonist will make medicines work better.....I am not sure how it plays into the protocol...just the fact that what was indentified to arrest some of the damage done by them is to me a step in the right direction. I do not think this advocates or does not advocate the MP at all...it seems very objective in his findings.....I do see a ID Oct 22 and will mention this to her.....
