Here is a great lecture video by Dr. Lida H. Mattman. You can watch it streaming from the below link:

http://www.tickedoffandfedup.com/Lida_Video.html

And here is a textbook on "stealth pathogens," including Lyme and its various forms (pleomorphism):

Google Books: (Borrelia search results) Cell wall deficient forms: stealth pathogens, By Lida H. Mattman

This is fascinating information. She was well before her time.

As many of you may be aware, Johns Hopkins researchers just published a study regarding L-forms (aka Cell Wall Deficient forms) of E. coli. (Johns Hopkins Newsletter article which also mentions L-form of Lyme bacteria)

The Johns Hopkins paper explained that these forms, lacking a normal cell wall, are therefore resistant to many different antibiotics that attack the bacterial cell wall, thus necessitating different antibiotics, or combination therapies, or both. This is something that many LLMDs have been focusing on for years.

Thank you both for this info. It's why we are not being treated.

I remember watching a DVD of Dr Matmann speaking at the Greater Hartford conference a few years ago, and Joanne Whitaker.

I believe it is sinister that DR M's work has been kept underground somehow.

There are a few more scientists getting into the subject of L-forms- perhaps you already know this place:

http://bacteriality.com/2007/09/09/markova-interview/

and the rest of the web site is very interesting (but I don't understand vitamin D yet and don't know what to think about whether we have enough or too much).

Fantastic that the JH university research is out.

Will the IDSA review panel think about all this science I wonder?

Andromeda

The IDSA usually uses their own research to make their decisions. They tend to ignore good science. They are very close minded for some reason or another.......conflicts of interest and such.

Don't know why this doctors research has been ignored. This presentation was 5 years ago.
