Hi guys,

My daughter had slacked off taking the HH capsules but has agreed to start them again. She hated the fishy aftertaste.

Anyway, I am not sure if she takes them with food or empty stomach and if she should take them away from the antibiotics or probiotics.

Thanks,

Deb G

I had to eat something AFTER taking them or I would burp it up and it was horrible. However it did not do me any good - I was taking up to 20 a day and still relapsed. Maybe I am an isolated case but I have never heard of anyone being cured from using HH capsules.

Thats the problem she has...she burps up that fishy taste and hates it. Maybe I shouldn't

worry about it right now. We're not even sure
if she has Bart anyway.

Thanks for the input..

I took them with white bread before and after.
I also double and triple packed them in empty capsules. You have to order several sizes of empty caps.

After three years I am now allergic to the empty capsules. Anyhow I am off meds now.

Nefferdun, I was on 15 for 2 years and off meds since six months - but I think I am not cured.

Those things are darn expensive, you can buy the houtouynia herb at 1stchineseherbs or other places for much cheaper.

kareni, why do you think you are not cured? Are your symptoms coming back? Be careful you do not let it go too far before you try something else. Resveratrol is supposed to be helpful and maybe you could just mix it in something to kill the taste.

I ordered the houtouynia from 1st chineseherbs and it does not have that horrible taste, which some people believe is proof of the potency. You could get enough from them to treat yourself for half a year for what one bottle of Zhang's cost. I still have it and if I decide to use it again I will just use that. There is a similar debate over regular cat's claw versus the TOA fee Samento which is MUCH more expensive. Buhner says the regular cat's claw is better! After having spent 5-6 hundred a month of the expensive herbs taken at the highest doses anyone advises, I can tell you they did not work for me.
