I have had skin lesions for almost 10 years with no proper diagnosis (Adult Acne and OCD were 2 of the latest). The dozen or so dermo's I saw had no idea what was causing my face to look like I had chicken pox.
I told them the areas itched like crazy, bit something awful, then I would scratch the places and expose a tiny small white skin plug that I think is topical skin yeast.
I had 2 biopsies and neither showed anything.
Anyone know how to get rid of it, it is eating me alive.
I just found out I have systemic yeast (I guess that what it is??) because I was taking Welchol prescribed by my LLMD and passed what appeared to be a broken up colony of yeast. That day I had an awful bout of pleghm like I'd never had.
I know the Whelchol and Theralac are treating the yeast but what can I do to kill the skin yeast?
I just took 2 weeks (one pill per week) of Ivermectin. Didn't seem to effect the yeast and it is quite severe in number.

Another thing with this topical yeast, it gets to moving rapidly when I sit at my PC at night.
Last night I noticed what appeared to be little white scratch marks on my neck, like small scars, about 20 of them.
Sat down at my PC and BAM!, I was itching all over. Went to the bathroom & looked in the mirrow and each of the white spots were blood red and raised. I, of course, scratched them open and guess what, little white rice-like stuff -- yeast.
Canefan, I rubbed garlic over my skin but it didn't help. The yeast is embedded in the skin like a tightly woven cocoon and can't be reached unless the skin is broken open to expose them. I will try ingesting the garlic if I can stand it w/o getting sick.
Pinelady, do you rub the coconut oil all over your body and if so, how long do you leave it? Did you do the same with your scalp?
Well, I finally found what my skin problem was after 10 years and a dozen dermatologists. Such a shame they don't know anything about something as simple as yeast but they can hand out a dx of OCD and assume the problem will cure on its own.

What is kombucha? I'm dreading buying the kefir because I can't stand any kind of buttermilk or yogurt product but I've got to get over that and proceed.
What brand of kefir do you purchase or do you make your own?
My hubby just came in with a bottle of MangoNoni, yuck, and has poured me a shot already. Why couldn't he have bought me a Coke instead. He watches me closely on the sugar, like a guard-dog. I know he means well but I'm climbing the wall for something good (with sugar). Hoping this will pass soon.

I make my own. I got the grains at www.kefirlady.com I add maple syrup, whey protein, and Super Seed by Garden of Life. My kids add frozen fruit to theirs.
Komucha is a fermented tea. Takes getting used to, but once you do, it's good. Everyone says it's nasty their first drink, next thing you know, you're hooked on it. Tastes kind of like a real dry champagne.

When I get flakes or itchy on my head... it tends to be from toxin overload.
It's a classic detox symptom. My tongue becomes white too.
I know those are classic yeast... but it's probably a combination of toxins.

Yes, my body isn't able to detox well but I'm taking the Welchol, Detoxamin, mangononi, and Liq. Zeolite. Sure there's lots of work to do in this area.
Six, is the Komucha worse tasting than the Noni's? I've tried several of them and really have a tough time keeping it down. Poor baby.

Canefan, the bumps I get aren't from toxins, it's more like what ladyjenie described. I read about what it could be and fungus is most likely.
I think the oregano oil is helping, though I can't be sure because it comes and goes anyway. I no longer treat Lyme and have done tons and tons of detox, so this is unrelated. In my case ....

Hey six,
Did you ever do bionic treatment when you went home?
Just curious... did you sell your Bionic equipment after you were done with it?
I was researching bionic 880 and remembered you using one.

Thanks Massman, I will research and try to get some of the oil, I can't keep scratching these places open, it is not a healthy look, or feel for that matter, and OHHHH!, how it hurts.

Some of your problem maybe parasite related...as well as KPU.....You may want to research this.
This helped my daughter with similar skin issues. Although some was in fact candida/yeast.
IT was a mixed group of problems for her...parasites, toxins, and candida/yeast...as well as KPU...her body does not detox naturally.

WO is also helpful with parasites. It can be taken internally also.

I have very itchy skin under my eyes beside my nose. I have tried a lot of things too. I used to soak that area with Selsun Blue. When my doc put me on Diflucan, that helped the most. Now when it acts up, I put some liquid GSE on it. Talk about itching. I think it drives that crap insane. Anyway, DO NOT get it on your mucous membranes (eyes, nose, etc.) as it will burn them like you know what. But it sure settles whatever it is down for a while.

Light, I have the KPU as well. I thought that was typical of lyme, though.
Wild, my LLMD said it is a cyst-buster and I can vouch it is. I've only been on it a short time but with all the colon cleanses, etc., I passed a small mass of white stringy mucuous that looked like it had tentacles (for better lack of a description).
Abigail, what is GSE, not familiar with it?
jpsmom, my dermo gave me that awful-tasting cocktail you're talking about. Didn't help my skin problem so he gave me Ivermectin pills. I wondered if the Ivermectin could have been what caused me to pass the yeast colony. I just have no idea.

Have you tried tea tree oil? It's not as severe on the mucus membranes as oregano oil or white thyme. I read somewhere that someone mixed the tea tree oil with coconut oil - or maybe it was oregano...
You could probably try both.
A long time ago someone recommended to me a douche for yeast infections of 1-2 drops of oil of white thyme, oil of wintergreen & a tbs of chlorophyl in about a quart of water.
May want to try wintergreen or white thyme in coconut oil? Just use a very small amount because it could burn.
An herb called Chaparral may be helpful, too.
