Hi everyone,

I might be moving to FL. From what I hear, there is only one good LLMD in FL.

Is that true?

Do you mind giving me feedback on your LLMD, and where they are located in teh state?

thanks

It is true. There is only one good lyme doc in Florida and his name starts with a C. I investigated for some time because I was thinking of moving to Florida.

Call a Florida lyme support group and they will tell you the same.

i see the Dr. with "c" as one of their initials...they are the only lyme doctor worth seeing...even takes several insurances.

The doctor is in Southwest,Fl. PM me if you want specifics.

Best,

There is also a Dr. C in "middle" Florida. I live in Florida and used to drive all the way to PA to see Dr. S. I loved him, but I can't make the trip anymore.

I am going to see Dr. C in Tampa in the next few months. But, the answer is NO, there are not many lyme literate doctors here. So you can forget about finding other specialty doctors that might be lyme literate. Such as eyes, dental, counseling.

There was a member on this board who was going to move to FL, because she had family here, but after some research and several posts with information about Lyme doctors, she changed her mind!! I can't remember who that was though, sorry.
