If WC were here she would know this. I'm trying to get a sense of what "normal" vs "high" is for meds. 'high" seems to mean something different for everyone. My LLMD uses "high" doses but I wonder if they are really that high?
Amoxicillin Zith/biaxin Flagyl/Tinidamax Mino/doxy Mycobutin Septra Omnicef?

OK- what I've learned about Septra is from Dr S's babesia book, I think. He mentioned that Dr H of NY used to try high doses of Septra but decided that the side effects were unacceptable at 4 800/160 capsules per day. I have tried to raise my dosage of Septra when I had my babesia relapse and didnt have other babesia meds handy, and I was fine with up to 4 per day, but I didn't sustain that dosage, and was not doing any blood tests at the time (a complete metabolic panel sounds like it would have been a good idea if I"d wanted to try this dosage longer-term). I did NOT consult with my LLMD on this at the time.
