Check out this website (copy and paste it if necessary):

http://www.spineuniverse.com/conditions/spina-bifida/spina-bifida-occulta-open-spina-bifida-patients

It has pictures that help explain the condition.

You should follow up with the recommended specialists. This condition does involve the nerves and may be causing some of your symptoms.

I know you are in pain but all caps hurts my eyes. Try to refrain from using it.

I have lower back pain from Lyme fairly often, usually in the mornings. I don't know anything about Spina Bifida. Why couldn't this pain just be from the Lyme?

Hi Ian ,
I'm new at this but I have a problem with caps myself . I can wear a cap for as little as 30 mins to hour and for 2 days after it feels like it's still on my head .
Not much consolation but it is a similarity .

Wishing us all well !

Wait, what? I meant all caps with typing. But actually, I do have a problem with caps that you wear on your head now that you mention it. It's just like you described it. It feels like it's still on my head after I take it off.
