Hubby takes pretty much all the supplements listed except GABA -- couldn't tell that that did anything.
Instead of berberine I give hubby oregon grape root tincture -- works well for him to control candida. And if needed he takes a goldenseal capsule now and then for extra help. Both of these herbs have berberine as primary ingredients.

- Seek, Thanks. I've never seen a photo-link before. This copied well to a print page.
Nice to see the ear toxicity issue addressed, too. I'll add this to my "EAR" thread. Thanks again for finding this article. I've admired the work of Dr. Blaylock for years. His work about the toxicity of aspartame and MSG is awesome. Glad to see him give some thought to lyme. -

Thanks Seek, I find it interesting.
Why don't our LLMDs do this? I am on doxy for who knows how long. Doc says a good long time; but I never heard of that med or supp that this guy says to take with it.
I wonder if anyone on lymenet has done this protocol?

- I've seen most of supplements listed also in the writings of many LLMDs. Dr. B and Dr. S hit on most of them. So do some of the other holistic approaches, although none exactly mirrors this.
Be careful, though. GABA can't be taken by everyone, though. Tiny doses to begin. Tiny. For me, (with many tries over a long time) even a small amount triggers seizures. But I've found other things that work equally well.
As well, not everyone can tolerate melatonin. If deep depression results from melatonin, that is a sign to back off and move to a different plan.
His suggestion for berberine is a good one. That is also found in many herbs. Berberine is just such a fine, fine, thing. -

- sutherngrl ,
I've got a collection of links to many LLMD authors' lists of supplement suggestions. Do you want that? -
