So I've always read that drinking some lemon water is a good way to detox. I've taken a slice of lemon in my water once in awhile but today I decided to go with more.
I am aiming to get my spleen and liver flushing without doing a hard cleanse. So along with some herbals, I decided some lemon water.
Took a whole lemon, cut it in half, squeezed it well into a cup, dropped the lemon halves into the cup and then filled up with water. Talk about your frequent urination!
So with lemon being a diuretic, is it shocking that I would be urinating a lot from a whole lemon in water? Between 3-4 hours, probably relieved myself 3-4 times.
Of course, I added to it by drinking one cup of coffee and one cup of dandelion root tea this morning (more diuretics).
I am currently taking Mepron and Zithromax with Artemisinin to try and kick some Babesia. I was wondering if the Mepron or Z-Max was causing the frequent urination, but it's probably the lemon water.
Too gung-ho by using one whole lemon right away?

I don't think that lemon is a diuretic.
Lemon juice has an alkaline ash, which is helpful when our body is too acidic.

I squeeze half of an organic lemon into about twelve ounces of water and a packet of stevia. I make a trip to the bathroom about every hour when doing this. Sounds normal to me.
