Okay, I'm going to take a shot at asking this, although I'm not sure how to word it so it makes sense.

I swear I am rapidly losing vision in my left eye.

I can no longer read anything with that eye, and some days I see colors differently--i.e., dimmer or different hues, whatever.

I'm planning to call the eye doctor tomorrow, although I'm sure they will find nothing, just like last time.

What I'm wondering--or worrying about, I guess--is this: if there is in fact "nothing" worong with my eyes, and this is all neurological, am I just doomed to lose the vision in that eye?

And if it is neurological, is there anything they can do about it?

I'm already taking mangosteen and acai, which is doing nothing. Do I need to add more/different supplements?

Honestly, this is now my worst and scariest symptom, and neither my eye doctor nor my LLMD seems to know what to tell me.

I have an LLMD appointment on Wednesday, and believe me, he is going to hear about this!

I am so sorry about your vision problems. I, too, would be scared to death about a loss of vision.

My eyes are terrible - just awful - right now they feel as if they are covered in a thick, hazy, gel.

Sometimes I can barely see, but I never have it in just one eye as you do.

I do experience the dimness that you do. I must turn on several lights to even read. In addition, I have a difficult time distinguishing dark colors. For example, a black car on the road blends into the tar. Colors must be bright and vibrant for me to register them.

In yoga class I think I will lose my mind b/c the teacher dims the lights (I guess for the calming experience), but instead it sends me up the walls. I simply can not see without bright, direct light.

In the past few years I have been to several eye doctor who can't find anything wrong with my eyes.

My LLMD says it is all just part of the Lyme. I did have a brain MRI done b/c of this problem, but nothing showed up.

Please let us know what your LLMD says. And, best of luck.
