Just to assure some of you off the bat, I have seen my GP and visited a hospital regarding this problem. I had a CT scan with contrast and a chest x-ray that came back normal. So, there isn't an explanation at the moment.
It's part of one of my worst symptoms. Chest/throat tightness, pressure, pain, occasional light wheezing, and a feeling that forces me to burp to relieve pressure in the chest. It comes and goes, with no identifiable trigger.
Since my treatment started a couple months ago, I've been coughing/spitting up phlegm in moderation. My LLMD thinks I may have some other type of chest infection, that hasn't been identified. I'm not sure. Approximately 3 times, I've noticed light streaks of blood in my spit-up.
Anyone else had/have to deal with this issue? Could it be related to a specific co-infection of Lyme?

Might be parasites...?
I have a cold & it's effecting my lungs pretty bad right now. Seems like something is going around here. I've heard a few people talking about bronchitis.
Could be allergies, too. We have alot of pine trees around here & about a day or so ago they just shot all of their pollen into the air. It's all over everything... I just moved here about a year ago. I never saw pollen like this.

I do have pretty awful allergies. I'm taking allergy shots for them right now; started them again roughly 5 months ago after I took them as a child for 9 years.
I've never-ever coughed up blood from allergies though. But, I always suppose things could change.
I do wonder about bronchitis. There isn't a legitimate test for it, as far as I understand. Amazing how I can have physical symptoms like this, and chest pains, tightness, etc... Yet, nothing shows up on a CT scan or x-ray.
At this point in my life and treatment, I'm of the philosophy that it's best to treat for suggestive possibilities such as parasites, than just continue to live in agony. What do you suggest I try for parasites?
Any kind of study or research I can do to help me find causal information regarding parasites?

Are you coughing really hard? It could cause a blood vessel to break and then cough up the blood. This happened to my son once. I learned this after a 4 hour visit to the ER. It was scary.

No, hardly coughing at all. I have a slight wheeze that appears out of no where, and sometimes a soft cough with it. But episodes last less than a minute, and I'm like back to normal.
I assume a CT scan would show some kind of problem with blood vessels; maybe not.
Continuous mysteries in my life.

They can go into the lungs... I'm not sure what will kill them. I know that green, black walnut hulls, wormwood & cloves works pretty well. I'm not sure if this combo can address parasites in the lungs.
This is a pretty standard combo for parasites. There are a bunch of different brands.
I think Humaworm has some combos, too. If you take the herbs & you have parasites - you will probably get ill for a bit while they die-off.
I think parasites are alot more common than most people realize.

Hi wolfed out... I get the wheezing also and not from alergies. my cough will be wet or dry and yes, I will get blood in my sputum. I think that
with me the throat will get a little raw and/or blood vessels break and that is when I will see the blood.
I am a Respiratory Therapist and it makes no sense to me. Try to sleep with a cool mist vaporizer in your room to help with possible bronchitis.
