I've been taking the zithromax/mepron combo for about three weeks. Been feeling off and on during it, but felt real crummy this last weekend.

One symptom that is new and concerning is both of my arms started feeling weak yesterday. Kind of weird to explain. I can use them and raise them and lift items, but they feel weak.

Side effect? Herx? Nerve issue?

My crummy feeling is just malaise, almost like the flu or a bad cold but no fever to go with it. Comes and goes but I really have felt it the last few days.

My LLMD is treating me for Babesia and I am also taking artemisinin and noni. He wanted me to kick it in the butt, but maybe a little too aggressive?

I have two refills on the Mepron and I'm almost out, but I'm thinking of taking a break from it if that is what is causing this feeling.

No takers? I did search "Mepron" and see some people have felt crummy with mepron and zitrhomax, but I couldn't find anyone commenting on "weak arms" or just having bad "malaise" type feelings.

I felt really good on Mepron. I thought this would be the medicine that got me better. After 3 weeks I broke out in a horrendous rash. I can't be sure it was the Mepron. I'm now at square one again.

I am trying Malarone to see what happens. It doesn't seem to work as well. You may want to try Malarone if the Mepron is too strong.
