I think I read that to blood test progesterone, testosterone, et all plus thryoid we should do at a certain time of the month. Does anyone know what days to go in for the blood draw?
I am getting:
progesterone, testosterone, pregnelenone, estrogen, ferritin, thyroid (all), leptin, prolactin, IGF-1.

I think it's day 3 of cycle. When period starts you count it as one.

Well wishes,

Am I responding late?. May be but I got the information from my Thyroid doctor just before yesterday.

She also wrote me that bunch of blod tests CD57.Since I was daignosed with Hypo thyroidism I never take my thyroid medication that morning before the test I will take it immediately after the test if I did not eat anything. Usually I go without eating for that. I don't think timing does not matter for the thyroid test. But I heard that it is better to get the test at the same time.

For the other E/P/T hormones, my doctor told me to go on the 3rd week since the first day of your period. That is if your period started on the 1st of the month then you go for the test on the 21st. If the 21st day is sunday then you can take the test on 20th or 22nd day of your period. Why because at that time your progesterone will be in peak.

I don't know about timing of hormone tests. My doc does salvia testing for that. There was nothing said about timing.

blood tests for hormones should be taken day 20-25 of your cycle. 21st day is best.

Instructed by LLMd to take test 21 days into your monthly cycle, the first day of your period is day 1. Just had all these tests a few months ago.
