I have been on the treatment for about 3 weeks now,I feel good today and suddenly feel sick again after dinner.I was so happy just now ,though I finally start to feel good.
Is this normal during the treatment, symptoms get up and down?

THAT IS THE WORST PART OF HAVING LYME DISEASE...... the DOWNS!!! .. which usually follow the UPS!!!
About the time you think you're making progress.... you are SLAMMED.
Hang in there!!
The normal monthly herx cycle is 3-5 wks. You are right on time!

Yes! Thats what makes this illness a rollar coaster ride!
Don't get discouraged. Sometimes you will feel good and then feel really bad for weeks at a time. Unless you are one of the few lucky ones that just feels better and better.
It seems that the ups and downs is a hallmark sign of LD.
Hope you feel better soon!

Unfortunately, yes it is very "normal" to have good days and then return to bad days. You can have stretches of good days and stretches of bad. It is distressing to say the least, until you get use to it and know that any given day could be a good one or not. I never know what to expect that day when I open my eyes.
In 4 years I have not been able to nail down a herx cycle, some strains of Bb grow all month, others grow every 4-6 weeks. I can never predict when a good phase or day is coming.
I have started days and felt pretty good and then by afternoon out of nowhere it all hits again. Also in reverse, feel awful for the morning and then all of sudden in the afternoon it turns good.
One LLMd says something to this effect, Enjoy the good days, don't get use to them and remember the bad days don't last either.
It is very discouraging to feel like things are improving only to go right back to feeling bad. The most disappointing good run for me was 28 good days and then I woke up one morning and felt like I was starting all over.
It is the hallmark symptom of lyme - waxing and waning, good and bad.
