Okay, not even sure how to describe this. I was sitting at my computer last night, and I suddenly got pain in/around my jaw/neck area.

It felt like my glands were swollen/painful, but I didn't feel any glands up when I checked.

Actually, I guess you could say the pain is like, did you ever put something really sweet in your mouth and get that really wicked pain in the back of your mouth/throat area? That's the best way to describe it.

The pain isn't constant, just comes and goes, but it's really annoying.

Now this morning I still have that pain, and other muscles are a little achy/weird feeling too.

No new meds, although I did have a chiro adjustment yesterday, and she focused a lot on the base of my skull and C1, C2 because I had some dizziness/motion sickness over the past few days.

Also yesterday my jaw cracked a couple times.

What the heck is going on?

I got a very similar feeling in my jaw/ear after adjustments. This was pre-lyme treatment. It has resolved with lyme treatment, but not before. My theory is that the adjustment disrupted bacteria into my jaw/ear. Just a theory.

I've seen others on here talk about dizziness/motion sickness issues.

Take care.

So...My symptoms got bad in Feb 2010. Periods of dizziness with flushing, sweating, chills, etc, and gastritis. Very babs / bart. I thought it was stress so went to a Chiro who adjusted my back, shoulders, neck and jaw.

BIG MISTAKE. I came out even worse with Labyrinthtis. I'm sure the adjustment squised some bacteria into my vestibular system and it went all funky.

The good news is...the "Labs" is better, but my jaw is still off and my ears still feel full and ring.

I am being treated for TMJ.
