Does it matter where you buy Lugol's 5% iodine solution? I noticed there is a lugols.com but other sites sell it as well. Is it all the same?
I'm getting off T-3 and I think iodine would help.

I think it's probably all the same. Pet Mountain has it. For a $5 discount type FIVE in the spot for coupons. I've read if you paint a 2 inch square of iodine on your skin and it's gone in less than 24 hrs you are deficient. I did that and it was gone in less than 12 hrs. I take 2-3 drops of Lugol's every day.

According to my calculations the Pet Mountain Lugol's is 12% so I guess it could be diluted with distilled water. Do you take 2-3 drops of Pet Mountain Lugol's a day? Good deal for the price.
I painted both wrists yesterday. When I looked a couple of hours later, the stains were gone.

When I painted on the iodine - it was gone in about 10 minutes!
I've been taking the Hulda Clark iodine & it has helped. My AM temperature went back to normal after many years of being low.
I took bio-identical thryoid & it didn't work as well & it was expensive.
The Clark iodine is 890 mcg of granular iodine & sodium iodide in 1/2 drop. I think you are supposed to start off with really small amounts & work it up.
I take about 1 drop every 2-3 days. The 12% may be too strong. You need to look at various websites & compare the dosage. You don't want to over-do it!
I think the percentages vary but they are mostly about 3% if I recall correctly.

You can also ask your LLMD for a RX for Ioderal. Compounding pharm. make have it. Mine dr. gave me a RX for that and my Armour. Most of us lymie's are hypothyroid and need more Iodine for our thyroid (and thyroid meds).
