My doc put me on natto and lumbro 2 pills twice a day when my hickman catheter went in.
Prior to the hickman, I had three ports which just kept clotting. Not dangerously so, but radiologist didn't want to put in any more pics
The hickman is great 10 weeks no problems with clots - on IV doxy (2nd time around with IV- going on three years of intense treatment for bart, babs, and lyme) I am getting better except for disabling headaches. I was thinking of adding wobenzym. My Lyme doc thought it was a good idea.
Do you think this is too many systemtic enzymes. Maybe my headaches are coming from the natto or lumbro?
Any thoughts? I also take the whole lyme protocol of vitamins, sugar free yeast free diet, and do lemon water, detox baths, etc.
I just want the headaches to go away. I'm going to be in rehab soon. I'm on 25 mg fentanyl and I still have break through pain

Does your doctor have you on medicine for the clotting?
I know of a well known LLMD/hemotologist that said if you have a clotting disorder don't mess around with Nattokinase and Lumbrokinase.
That may not be your situation though.

I know when my brother started Coumadin for his clotting disorder he developed temporary headaches as the body readjusts to thin blood.
It could just be that your blood is a whole lot thinner. However, it is not something you want to tool around with.
Just consult your doc.
Also get tested for a clotting disorder, especially Factor V Leiden.

What are you taking for bart? Doxy did not address my headaches that came with bart and maybe babesia. When you get off the IV maybe you could use Bactrim DS and zithro or biaxin to see if it helps clear up your headaches. Mine are gone now and I had them every day for years. I was taking so much imitrex (thought they were migraine) that I ordered it from India - only way I could afford it. Imitrex, by the way, does knock out the bart headaches if you take it as soon as you feel it coming on.

Dr. Mercola just sent out a paper on cheap medical cures for various problems. For headaches, he recommends taking one oz. of peppermint oil and putting it into 9 oz of grain alcohol (which you can get at a liquor store).
Rub drops of this mixture onto your forehead and temples when you get a headache.
I'm giving this a try, personally, as I take soooooo many things already for various problems.
Hope this helps!

I have been treated for bart -almost 9 months -I am clear of it- also I had all the grand testing by two lyme literate hemos -no clotting issues, special heritary diseases, etc.
I get blood work once a week and everything is normal. I just want to know if this wobenzym has helped anyone with headaches
Thanks

Wobenzym helped me.
Within two weeks of starting, I no longer woke every day with a splitting headache.
