I have had lyme and coinfections for over 16 years. I have been in treatment with a great LLMD for 7 years.
A friend has let me use her EMEM5 machine. The problem is when it is turned on I can instantly feel it in my chest. My chest gets tight, and I do not have enough air to speak. This is not a new symptom. I also have light, sound and vibration sensitivity.
Anyone else have this problem? Or any ideas?

Go slow you have had it a long time.Only do 30 sec. then wait the 2 weeks. See how you feel. I use to get heart flutters, and the sound sensitivity was horrible. I would put in the soft ear plugs it seemed to help.

Interesting! My son uses a coil machine and feels nothing when he is treating himself. The next day he gets herxs that may last several days.

Lyme can cause extreme sensitivity to frequencies, magnetic fields and the like.
Even though the sensation is uncomfortable, I think it is important to remember that it is a disease symptom, but does get better as the Lyme is reduced.
Frequencies stir up the bacteria, and if you are damaging them, that will also cause reactions like any other effective treatment.
I really do not know of an effective way to get rid of this effect, other than to reduce the bacteria.

EMEM5 does not have a switch for intensity/signal strength.....the usual treatment distance is about 18 inches...
I suggest moving back a few feet until it is at least bearable or....doing 30 second treatments.....or the combination of these two.
