Average Joe go to the search option. There are several good posts about detoxing.

Off the top of my head Milk Thistle, detox foot patches, lemon water and Yogi detox tea.

Joe,
Detox means that you're providing your liver with what it needs to do its job.

The liver makes glutathione to detoxify all poisons, including alcohol, tylenol, medications, and the poisons left by the Lyme bacteria when they die.

Two basic supplements that help the liver do this are fish oil and magnesium.

Milk thistle helps the liver to produce bile, which contains the byproducts of the poisons and also breaks down fats in the intestines so that they can be digested.

So those are three simple things you should be doing.

For the fish oil, do not just buy the cheapest you can find.
You need a pharmaceutical quality oil that is not rancid and has no mercury.

Country Life Omega 3 Mood is good, and has a high ratio of EPA, which reduces inflammation.
Carlson's Lemon Flavored Fish Oil is good too.

For the magnesium, do not just buy the cheapest, which usually is magnesium oxide.
Magnesium is difficult for the intestines to absorb, and the forms that end with -ate are better.

I'm using Source Naturals Ultra-Mag, which has magnesium citrate, taurinate, malate, glycinate and succinate.
You need to look at the list of ingredients.

Peter Gilham's Calm is good too, with mag citrate.
It's a powder that you mix with hot water, and comes in flavors.

If you need an idea of what's available, I suggest that you look at iHerb.com which has reviews.

There are more things that help with detoxification, but these are the most basic.

Carol
