Anyone know if CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy ) is a misdiagnosis of lyme? Someone I know has been dx'd with CTE.

- Well, it sure could be. Chronic Encephalopathy goes hand-in-hand with chronic neurolyme, for sure.
It would depend, partially, on the "trauma" -- to some "trauma" defines blunt force, as a accident. To others, it may speak to emotional issues - or even infection. Infection can cause "traumatic" changes to the brain.
With an accident, CTE may be the correct single diagnosis. Or - lyme can coexist or be --- word loss here --- uh, brought back into action from dormant state. -
