I am looking for a doctor that specializes in treating pregnant women I have been on treatment for 8 months and am now dealing with an unexpected pregnancy. I have a clinical diagnosis, Elisa test was the only test I was given which was negative and Bartonella was indeterminate. I had improved greatly on treatment but have now been relapsing for past 2 weeks. I was switched to Amoxocilin because of pregnancy 6 weeks ago, I am 13 weeks pregnant. I have a very helpful doctor but he does not specialize in lyme and pregnancy. I am not from The States but am willing to travel there. Doctor recommendations along with personal advice would be greatly appreciated.

You stated that you are not from the States but that you are willing to travel to the States for treatment, I gather.

Could you tell us where in the States you are interested in finding a lyme literate Doctor (LLMD)? I see that on your post you put down Niagara Falls is that where you want to find a Doctor?

Please let us know which State or States you would consider because we have the LLMDs listed by States. We will be happy to help you find a lyme Doctor and give you a lot of support.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I live in Niagara Falls, Canada. I really want a doctor that specializes in pregnant women with Lyme so would be willing to travel to see someone that specializes in that. Of course the closer the better.
