There are folks in southeastern PA who run an excellent website regards Lyme & co-infection issues. The Lyme Disease Assoc of S.E. Pennsylvania. They have a hotline for questions, which your son might want to call tomorrow (Monday) morning: 610-388-7333 Their website is simply:
Clicking on 'Patient Help' gives the contact info. I'm sure they'll know someone in or near Harrisburg.
Make sure your son lets any doctor's office know the young child was just bitten, & [1 of] the tick[s] was engorged. (SAVE the tick, if possible, for examination.) LLMDs' offices often give priority attention to a case like this as it's quite treatable when caught so early.
