My son has been dealing with high pain for nine months. He's 12.

My son's unrelenting pain got better with IV antibiotics and Lyme treatment with an ILADS doctor. Our doctor prescibed a pain killer for him at age 14 just enough to get through until the buggers died. Pain in our children is a very hard thing to deal with!!!! I wish you the best.

ktkdommer - I wish IV antibiotics had worked for him. His WBC went so low we had to stop.
We found out the heavy metals (HPU) is the reason he has not gotten any better on abx of any kind. We are currently treating with the HPU protocol... and Bar-1.
Some days he won't get out of bed and just cries because it hurts so bad. I just want to be able to give him something to help with the pain.
Our pediatrician is ILADS and is thinking outside the box because his case is not one that can be an abx only... as for pain killers, she says no.
I would like a child friendly pain management doctor or psychologist to help him deal with this emotionally and physically. Too much on the little guy.
